Canoeing and fishing
Do you thrive in the wet element? You can rent canoes in several places in Rauland. Rauland Feriesenter rents rowing boats and canoes on Uvatn (below Vierli cafeteria) and also has two boats on Oksatjønn.
Krossobanen
Northern Europe’s first cable car was built in 1928 as a gift from Norsk Hydro to the inhabitants of Rjukan, so that they could get up in the sun during the winter.
